‘Myrtle Beach Area Goes Presidential’ for January 2012 Republican Primary Debate

In support of the Jan. 16 South Carolina Republican Presidential Primary debates, the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce has launched a ‘Myrtle Beach Area Goes Presidential’ campaign to show community support, pride and patriotism in the weeks leading up to the scheduled debate and the state’s primary election.

Businesses are encouraged to show their community pride by sending in business discounts for the Myrtle Beach Presidential Primary Debate. Discounts will be posted on VisitMyrtleBeach.com/Debate from Jan. 13-16. Submit your discounts by Jan. 9 – buy one, get one free; 20% off; free gift with purchase; etc. Great opportunity to promote your business to thousands!

Show off your patriotism and win $300
More than 4,000 people are expected to attend the Jan. 16 Presidential Primary Debate along with hundreds of journalists from across the country. Businesses are asked to show off their patriotism by entering MBACC’s Civic Pride Decoration Contest for a chance to win – 1st Place – $300, 2nd Place – $200, 3rd Place – $100. Raise the American flag, wrap your businesses in red, white and blue, and post welcome signs. Entries will be judged for patriotic theme and creativity. Judging takes place Jan. 13.

Grand Strand Legislative Reception

Join your Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce in thanking the state senators and representatives for the time they spend working on the many issues impacting Grand Strand businesses. Every year, we travel to Columbia to meet with members of the S.C. General Assembly.
