Miss-Master The Children Shoppe is everything you might expect from a children’s clothing boutique.

The building on the 6000 block of North Kings Highway, which also houses a Kirk’s Ice Cream Parlor is pastel pink.

Inside, things only get sweeter with smocked dresses, perfect bows and darling patterns all in classic designs.

Miss-Master The Children Shoppe was named Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce’s January Leading Business of the Month sponsored by South State Bank.

The boutique, opened by Geri Anderson, has been serving Grand Strand residents more than 40 years and has been a member of the chamber since 1979. Anderson still owns and operates the store.

The boutique stocks brands such as Lilly Pulitzer, Vineyard Vines, Florence Eiseman, Bailey Boys, Kissy Kissy, Jack Rogers and Magnolia Baby. Sizes fit newborns, including preemies, through size 16 for girls and size 12 for boys.

Miss Master is open daily except Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.Leading Business of the Month
