Chamber releases ‘Going Into Business’ guide
Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce recently released a new ”Going Into Business” guide for people interested in learning more about starting a business along the Grand Strand. This new business development resource was the idea of the MBACC Small Business Council, who led the charge in getting the most relevant and recent information together for those looking to open a business.
”We believe it’s very important to do all that we can do to make it easier for someone wanting to start a business in the Myrtle Beach area,” said Greg McCollum, chairman of the MBACC Small Business Council. ”Fostering the growth of business within our area and providing all the resources we can to potential business owners is something we’re passionate about, and we’re very proud of the collaborative efforts of the Small Business Council members and the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber staff members that have made this information available to the public.”
The resource for prospective business owners includes business license and permitting information, tax information, maps and additional local small business resources. The ”Going Into Business” guide can be viewed online or a hard copy of the guide can be picked up at the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce main office at 1200 North Oak St., Myrtle Beach.
