Leading Business of the Month – Serendipity Inn

On the northern end of Myrtle Beach, just two blocks from the ocean and its tall hotels, lies the Serendipity Inn.

Nestled among trees behind Flamingo Grill, this 15-room bed and breakfast opened in June 1998. Since its opening, the Serendipity Inn remains a family owned and operated B&B that serves a continental breakfast daily.

It’s described as quaint, romantic and charming.

Serendipity Inn can accommodate small weddings. The property also has a pool and hot tub and fire pit in an enclosed courtyard for guests to enjoy and the beach is a short walk down 71st Avenue North.

Each room is decorated differently to reflect different time periods in the Spanish Mission-style inn.Some rooms have kitchens, others are efficiencies. Some have four-poster beds while others have simpler headboards.

About Leading Business of the Month
The first Wednesday of every month, Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce announces a Leading Business of the Month. This special promotion, sponsored by South State Bank, recognizes a company that has been a member of Myrtle Beach Area Chamber for a minimum of five years. The business is randomly selected. The company displays a banner at their place of business for one month recognizing them as the Leading Business of the Month.
